PURPOSE:To ensure effective, efficient and economical curriculum management and development, management of the districts, learner support and institutional governance and management and provide human and education development support.

FUNCTIONS:

1. Provide curriculum and professional development and support services.

2. Ensure sound management of FET colleges and ABET.

3. Provide support for the effective and efficient management of districts.

4. Provide support to Institutional Governance and Management of the directorate.

5. Provide support for the implementation of the Learner Support Programme.

6. Provide Human Resource development and support.

7. Provide educational development and support services.
