FREE STATE EDUCATION MEC INTRODUCES
PLANS TO MITIGATE THE STRIKE

Free State
Education MEC Tate Makgoe outlined plans to mitigate the impact of
the strike on grade 12 learners. Outlining the department’s
contingency plan, Makgoe said the success of the programme fully
depends on the high level of commitment and cooperation between the
department, trade unions, educators, learners and parents.

FREE STATE PROVINCIAL
GOVERNMENT BURSARIES FOR 2011
Grade 12 learners, learners who
have already passed Grade 12 and students already studying at
Institutions of Higher Learning are invited to apply for Bursaries
advertised to study towards obtaining a qualification in scarce
skills identified in the Free State Provincial Government. Closing
